Planet Playschool ensures each child’s safety, growth and development. Our playschool provides an outstanding learning curriculum, a safe and secure environment, and fun activities for your child. Enhanced Procedures for Covid-19 

When dropping children off, parents are required to wear masks while interacting with staff members.  

All children will have their temperatures taken and must pass the daily health screening questions to enter the school. Temperatures will also be taken throughout the day. 

Only staff and enrolled children are allowed inside the building.  

To limit transmission of germs, we do ask that children only bring necessary items (hats, jackets, gloves, diapers/pull ups. No diaper bags or book bags) 

All children 5 or over must wear a mask.  

Children who have a temperature of 100.4 or greater, feels warm to the touch, or says they have recently felt feverish, will be sent home. If we send a child home, they will need to be seen by a doctor. To return to school, you must either have a negative covid test or an alternative diagnosis and be fever and symptom free for 24hrs without medication. If your child is not seen by a doctor and does not have a negative test, you will not be able to return for 10 days.  More info.

About our Programs

Each Lead Teacher is responsible for developing a weekly lesson plan that is developmentally appropriate to the age group they teach. Each classroom has a weekly theme in which activities such as art, science, music, writing, reading, math and manipulatives are utilized.

Our teachers are experienced, educated, motivated and mature. They are certified in First Aid and CPR and have accreditations with the state of N.C. to ensure your child is receiving the very best care and education. Infant teachers are certified in SIDS. They love our children and are committed to nurturing and teaching them.

Health & Safety

From teacher First Aid and CPR certification to extensive reference and criminal background checks, our teachers are prepared to put your child’s safety first. Our facility follows good health procedures to ensure it is a safe, healthy and nurturing place for all children. We have a rigid check out policy in place to ensure each child leaves with an approved guardian.
